origin and provenance
A complex and structured coffee produced by U Sai Wan Maing at Green Land farm in Pyin Oo Lwin, located between Mandalay and Northern Shan State.
The estate spans approximately 400 acres at elevations between 1,127 and 1,158 meters above sea level, where Arabica trees grow under the natural shade of macadamia and silver oak trees. The farm is a hub of agricultural innovation, experimenting with plant spacing, fertilization and advanced irrigation systems.
U Sai Wan Maing is a key figure in Myanmar’s specialty coffee development: a multi-awarded producer, recognized by the FAO and among the few certified Q Graders in the country.
Cherries are handpicked and processed using the natural method, allowing fruit sugars to fully develop during drying.
In the cup, it delivers a rich and enveloping profile: red berry notes combine with a chocolate base and subtle spice, resulting in a sweet, creamy and well-structured cup with balanced acidity.
