Wow, not sure where to begin but these people are true masters of their craft! In the land of coffee, it may be surprising that it is actually hard to find great quality specialty coffee in Milan or anywhere else in Italy. So I was incredibly surprised to discover 7Gr that has a splendid variety of specialty beans that they roast in-house. They even have co-ferments if you are looking to try those out. Their “standard” beans are already superb and will surely not disappoint the snobbiest of most coffee enthusiasts. Their menu might be a little overwhelming at first because they have so many great beans but their baristas and owner are super friendly and helpful. Talk to them about what you like and trust that they will find the best one for you. I saw some negative reviews here saying that the coffee was quite expensive. However, I do think that in the world of true specialty coffee where green coffee is getting so expensive, their prices are very reasonable. Truly, I think anyone who wants to taste fantastic coffee, needs to make a stop here. Also, the shop is definitely on the cozy side but it was tastefully designed and featured their beans beautifully. A true paradise for someone like me! I went every single day during my trip in Milan and it was one of my best discoveries of the city this time!

I tried the espresso and cortado, and both were absolutely delicious. The coffee was perfectly balanced and clearly made with high-quality beans. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, which made the experience even better. The place itself is beautiful and well-designed. I highly recommend everyone to give it a try, and I’ll definitely visit again every time I’m in Milan.

One of the best coffees I ever had. I tried a flat white with Colombian beans that have a strong cinnamon taste. ❤️ If you’re a coffee enthusiast, this is your place to go!! You have to take your time here, as they have a lot of beans variety. Super passionate people, amazing coffee roasters. Will definitely come back to try out other beans!

Truly top notch specialty coffee experience. Quite possibly the best I have experienced anywhere in the world after years of extensive travel that always involves searching out quality coffee wherever we are. They are super conscious of the coffee sourcing, ethics and story. Very knowledgeable about their craft, and couldn’t be more kind and enthusiastic. As a bonus the store interior is beautifully designed. There isn’t a seating area like a traditional cafe, but go for the coffee as it’s very special. 10 out 10, highly recommend.

So so happy to find this specialty coffee shop in Milan. It felt really nice to sip my pour over on the counter and chat with the barista and the owner Mary. Both are so knowledgeable about the process of making a good cup of coffee and are such nice people!! Will definitely be back when I’m in town and trying more funky beans. The Ecuadorean sidra was extremely light, and it had a surprisingly pleasant bitterness described as a grapefruit flavour. So happy about the whole experience:)
