origin and provenance
This lot comes from the renowned Dukamo Family, one of the most respected names in Ethiopian specialty coffee. Grown in the Bombe area of Sidama at elevations between 2,000 and 2,100 meters above sea level, the coffee benefits from native forest shade, clay-rich soils and an exceptional highland microclimate.
The Dukamo Family manages farms, washing stations and processing facilities while working with more than 2,500 smallholder farmers, ensuring traceability, sustainability and consistently outstanding quality.
Cherries are selectively handpicked, carefully sorted and pulped before undergoing aerobic fermentation. After washing, the coffee is density-sorted and slowly dried outdoors to achieve optimal moisture levels and cup stability.
The cup stands out for its remarkable clarity and elegance. Floral violet notes are complemented by yellow peach, honey and orange, while the finish reveals refined dark chocolate nuances. Bright citric acidity, pronounced sweetness and a silky body create a balanced and sophisticated sensory experience.
A beautiful expression of Ethiopia’s floral and high-elevation coffee heritage.
