Single origins 7Gr

7Gr single origins were born from the desire to make our customers understand how much care and attention to detail we put into selecting our coffees. To fully understand the unique and distinctive characteristics of our blends, we also roast the beans that compose them individually.

Coffee is defined as “single origin” when the beans come from a single region. Blended coffee, on the other hand, requires that the beans come from different areas or countries. Since single origins are traceable to a place, they usually boast a distinct and quality flavor based on the climate of the region in which they are grown, as well as the specific processing conditions of the producer.

Single origin coffee offers an original flavor profile, while a blend combines the elements of several beans. In general, single origins are usually bolder with a more decisive and exotic taste. Coffee blends tend to be more balanced since the variety of beans complement each other.

Artisanally roasted in our production laboratory, 7Gr single origins. allow our customers to understand not only the quality of our selections, but also the role that each of them plays within the blends.

There are four origins, three Arabica and a prized Robusta: a Brazil Santos, a Colombia Supremo, an Ethiopia Sidamo and an India Kaapi Royale.

The 7Gr. single origins can be used for filter or espresso extraction. Each of them will reveal a bouquet of unique and distinctive flavours. From the citrus and floral acidity of the Ethiopian Sidamo to the malic and rounded ones of the Colombia Supremo. From the warm and chocolatey notes of Brazil Santos, to the spicy ones of the Indian beans.
