blend origins
Ethiopia Sidamo
From this country come the finest washed Arabica beans. Their extremely refined taste is characterized by medium acidity and citrusy and sweet notes. Coffee is harvested once a year between November and December, and generally, 4 passes are made on each plant during which only the red and ripe cherries are handpicked. Sidamo, cultivated in the west-central area of the country, constitutes with its small but extraordinary washed beans a unique component, which ensures within the blend the fusion between acidity and sweetness with a slight hint of rose.
Colombia Supremo
Colombia is the world’s leading producer of washed Arabica coffee, and its beans are renowned for their high quality. The plants grow at altitudes between 1,500 and 1,900 meters, and the volcanic soil provides them with high organic nourishment. The harvest takes place from October to February. In its Supremo quality, it represents one of the most prized components, with its perfect balance and smooth taste that leaves an unmistakable aroma of chocolate and caramel enriched by slightly citrus notes of peach and plum.
Brazil Santos
Forms the base of our blends. The Santos, with its renowned beans, represents the origin capable of giving the blend the roundness necessary to harmonize the organoleptic characteristics of the other components.
The sweet, aromatic characteristics with slight hints of almond are accompanied by an adequate body along with what is perhaps its most distinctive attribute: a marked cocoa aftertaste and a good body.
India Kaapi Royale
In this country, one of the best Robustas in the world is grown and processed: the Parchment. The beans we use in our blend are hand-picked, hulled, washed, and completely defect-free. This allows us to give the espresso cup a rich and velvety body and the unmistakable spicy notes, hardly replicable with the same purity, from any other origin.
