Origin and provenance

This coffee comes from the Siko washing station in the village of Uraga, in the Guji province. The station sources cherries from about 500 local farmers, who grow their crops at altitudes between 2100 and 2250 meters above sea level. The combination of nutrient-rich red soils and abundant sunlight in the area allows these skilled farmers to produce exceptional coffee beans that consistently offer quality and aroma. As for the name, “Dhilgee” translates to “blood red” in the Oromo language. This name reflects the coffee’s unique cup profile, characterized by delicate floral notes, hints of red and purple berries, and an overall round and sweet taste.
