For over fifteen years, 7Gr has been telling an all-Italian story of passion for coffee. Sevengrams was founded in late 2009 in Milan by Mary, Angelita, Anna, and Daniela Mauro: four sisters born into a family with a long tradition in coffee roasting. Their new venture aimed to revive the Italian espresso tradition and elevate the daily ritual into a memorable tasting experience. In 2008, after selling their shares in the family’s former coffee business and accumulating years of valuable experience, they embarked on a new entrepreneurial challenge.<\/p>

This all-women team was later joined by Chiara Bergonzi<\/b>, an SCA trainer, consultant, and prominent figure in the specialty coffee industry. Chiara now plays a pivotal role in the Sevengrams team, overseeing Coffee Studio training programs<\/a>, customer development, and the production activities related to the Lot Zero project, of which she is a co-founder.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

While proudly rooted in our Italian origins, we recognize that a product’s culture transcends geographic borders. <\/p>

That’s why we’ve chosen a brand that can be understood in all languages, especially within the global community of coffee enthusiasts. It’s a gesture of respect towards those who, regardless of their country of origin, share our passion for espresso.

In 2018, the Lot Zero <\/a>line was launched, dedicated exclusively to the excellence of the “specialty” world. It features highly prestigious origins, produced in micro-lots, completely traceable, and carefully processed after harvesting. This line is crafted to satisfy the most discerning palates and offers various extraction methods beyond espresso.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our specialty coffees, whether single origin or blend, undergo meticulous selection and blending by Chiara Bergonzi<\/b>, who oversees every stage of the artisanal production and roasting process.
